Self IntroductionDr.Chen's research topics are related to the global warming impact on tropical precipitation change, the Western North Pacific and East Asia monsoon region (e.g., spring, Mei-yu, and typhoon seasons), changes in large scale circulation, and extreme precipitation. In the TCCIP project, my work focus on climate change and global warming issues associated with WNP-EA monsoon, seasonal precipitation, and typhoon activity.
