In Team 1, Ting-Hsuan is responsible for analyzing historical climatic phenomena in Taiwan and producing an atlas of historical climate. Based on the 27 Extreme Climate Indicators (Expert Team on Climate Change Detection and Indices, ETCCDI) defined by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), a total of 22 temperature and rainfall extreme indicators were selected for the area of Taiwan, to analyze the long-term trend of historical climate and the changes of extreme indicators.
