WORKSHOP / 2026 TCCIP International Workshop On Climate Change
The waves of climate change are rising faster than ever. The question is no longer whether we can endure these changes, but how we can adapt together. This year, TCCIP International Workshop on Climate Change will be hosted by National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR) in Taiwan, aims to embrace this moment of transformation, inviting researchers and leaders to share their visions of a resilient and just future.
This 3-day workshop fosters interdisciplinary exchange—where data meets dialogue, policy meets inclusion, and local wisdom meets national ambition. It is through these connections that our societies learn not only to respond to risks but to reimagine how to thrive amid uncertainty. Participants will explore how scientific insight, coordinated planning, and supportive systems can turn the challenge of climate change into an opportunity for collective strength and ride the wave toward sustainable progress.
The workshop presentations will be specific to 3 themes:
- Impact Drivers and Analysis: this topic highlights data, methodologies, and assessment results on national-specific, sector-specific, compound, or systemic risks
- Adaptation Actions and Support System: this topic includes the using risk assessments to develop adaptation roadmaps and set up goals at sectoral or municipal levels as well as other climate services or tools to support adaptation actions during development, implementation or monitoring phases.
- Adaptation Framework and Policy: this topic covers the introduction of key national climate change adaptation policies and action plans, including the systemic cross‑ministerial coordination, local implementation schemes, and its alignment with international frameworks.
