Self IntroductionDr. Yung-Ming Chen, the current head of the Climate Change Division at the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction (NCDR) in Taiwan. Dr. Chen leads the division's scientific research, technical development, policy making, and promotion of climate change-related initiatives. With extensive experience and expertise in climate change research, Dr. Chen has been involved in numerous domestic and international research projects related to climate change. He has a deep understanding of and has contributed significantly to research, policies, and adaptation strategies related to climate change. Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. in Atmosphere from National Taiwan University. He has published numerous research papers and reports on climate change, environmental hazards, and related topics in academic journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Chen is also an active member of various professional associations and advisory committees related to climate change and disaster reduction in Taiwan and abroad.
