Precipitation indices and definitions
- Annual total precipitation in wet days (PRCPTOT)
Annual total precipitation in millimeters (mm) on wet days with daily precipitation greater than or equal to 1 mm. - Monthly total precipitation in wet days (PRCPTOT-mon)
The total precipitation in millimeters (mm) on wet days with daily precipitation greater than or equal to 1 mm for each month. - Maximum 1-day precipitation amount (RX1DAY)
Annual maximum daily precipitation in millimeters (mm). - Simple daily intensity index (SDII)
Annual total precipitation in wet days (PRCPTOT) divided by the number of wet days, measured in millimeters per day (mm/day). - Consecutive dry days (CDD)
Annual maximum number of consecutive days with daily precipitation less than 1 mm, measured in days. - Wet season total precipitation in wet days (PRCPWS)
The total precipitation in millimeters (mm) on wet days during the wet season (May to October). - Dry season total precipitation in wet days (PRCPDS)
The total precipitation in millimeters (mm) on wet days during the dry season (November to April).

The average of daily mean temperature during the wet season (May to October), measured in Celsius (°C). - Dry season average temperature (TGDS)
The average of daily mean temperature during the dry season (November to April), measured in Celsius (°C).
