Landslide Whole Taiwan RCP8.5 Mid-Century Top 30% Events in Total Cumulative Rainfall Change

Under the RCP8.5 scenario in the mid-century compared to the baseline period, the northwestern and central regions experience a decrease for the top 30% events of total accumulated rainfall events in Taiwan, while the eastern and southern regions see an increase, with a change rate ranging from -30% to 30%. In terms of rainfall values, the baseline average of total accumulated rainfall is approximately 296mm, while in the mid-century, it decreases slightly to around 281mm, indicating an overall decrease of 5%.
